379,033. Bed-rests. EVANS, R. Y. K. N., EVANS, D. K. L. N., and EVANS, J. K. N., King Street, Wednesbury, Staffordshire. June 23, 1931, No. 18124. [Class 52 (ii).] An adjustable back-rest c for use on a bedstead, is pivoted on a bar d which can swing upwardly and downwardly with respect to the end frame a<2> and which is held in adjusted position by a telescopic strut f, f<4> mounted between the bar d and the bedstead frame. A clamping screw g may be provided in the strut. In the modification shown in Fig. 4, the member d<2> is replaced by lazy-tong linkage j with a clamping screw j<3>.
