Abstract

364,922. Saddle supports. MANGAN, J., Clonsilla, Co. Dublin, Ireland. March 5, 1931, No. 6808. [Classes 136 (i) and 136 (iii).] In open-frame cycles, an extra saddle-pin clip 1 is mounted on the seat tube 2 below the main saddle-pin 5, and consists of a fixed or vertically adjustable clip part on the tube 2 and means to receive an extra saddle for the use of a child &c. learning to ride. The clip 1 may be of double formation so as to receive a saddle-pin 4 for the extra saddle, the double clip being adapted to be clamped on the tube 2 and the pin 4 simultaneously. The clip 1 may additionally be provided with a set-screw 6 to keep the pin 4 from turning.
