403,895. Bicycle supports. SCHULTE, B. M. A. G., 22, Zuid Koninginnewal, Helmond, Holland, and NUNEN, F. J. J. VAN, Marine Department, Singapore, Straits Settlements. June 23, 1933, No. 18012. Convention date, May 30, 1932. [Class 136 (i).] A support or prop fitted to one or both sides of a bicycle handle-bar is adapted to bear on a wall, post, &c., at a point located outside the handle-bar grip in such a way that the plane passing through this point and the centre line of the handle-bar shank is approximately perpendicular to the central plane of the bicycle. In the form shown, a tube 2 is fastened to the front of the handle-bar 1 by means of clamps 3, and is fitted with a slidable rod 4 provided at each end with a rubber pad 5 adapted to bear on a wall, &c. The rod 4 is operated by means of a knob 6, the neck of which is guided in a slot 7 in the tube 2, the rod being held in the operative and inoperative positions by turning the neck of the knob into recesses 8 at each end and at the centre of the slot 7.
