470,314. Bending tubes. SCHOFIELD, L. Nov. 30, 1936, No. 32764. [Class 83 (iv)] In apparatus for bending tubes &c. a stationary former 1 co-operates with a bender 7 swung about a removable pin 8. The former 1 is held by a member 3, fitted with an aluminium-cased wood handle (not shown), adjustably secured to the former by a removable pin 10. The former carries grooves 2a for the tube and clips for securing the tube to the former. In a modification, the member 3 may be secured to the former 1 by ratchet-and-pawl means.
