Class 97(3) An adjustable spline comprises a base 1 with a longitudinal slot 2 at the left-hand end of which is rotatable a threaded rod to which are rigidly secured, at the top, a knob 7 and, at the bottom, an arm 3. The lever 9 is threaded on the threaded rod and may be rotated to clamp the arm 3 to the base 1. A similar assembly 4, 8, 10 is carried on a threaded rod slidable in the slot 2. The spline 14 is carried in slots in the arms 3, 4 and secured by screws 12, 13.
