[Class 108 (ii)] [Also in Group XXXI] A handle pivoted at one end to the rear of a tricycle can be pivoted rearwardly from the tricycle to a height convenient for pushing and when not required may be pivoted to an inoperative position between the rear wheels, means being provided to secure the handle in this position. As shown, the handle D is in three parts D<SP>1</SP>, D<SP>2</SP>, D3. One end of the part D<SP>1</SP> is rotatably mounted on a projecting end of a rod C fitted on the tricycle as described in Specification 628,991, [Group XXXI], at the rear of a container provided behind the saddle. To the other end of the part D<SP>1</SP>, at E, the part D2 is pivotally attached which is slidable telescopically within the upper part D3. The part D<SP>3</SP> has fitted a hand grip F. The handle can be locked in the operative position by extending the part D3 until a pair of pins on the part D<SP>2</SP> passes through slots in the end flange of the part D<SP>3</SP>, and by rotating the part D<SP>3</SP> until the pins engage indents in the end. When folded, the handle is held by spring clips G<SP>1</SP>, G<SP>2</SP>, provided on the container. The end of the hand grip F may be formed with an aperture K to engage the other projecting end of the rod C when the handle is folded.
