Abstract

427,285. Stands for lavatory basins. RACK, A. J., 2, Heath Street, Commercial Road, Whitechapel, London. Oct. 15, 1934, No. 29506. [Class 52 (v)] A stand for lavatory basins adjustable both in width and depth comprises a pair of tubular front legs 1 connected by a horizontal tube 4 and carrying at their upper ends rearwardly projecting basin-supporting arms 2 secured to the wall at 3, the effective lengths of the arms 2 and tube 4 being adjustable. A cap 7 on each leg 1 has a lateral lug 6 with a slot 9 in which slides a pin secured to the arm 2, the parts being secured in adjusted position by a nut on the pin. The connecting tube 4 and tubular towel rails 5 fit telescopically in sockets 10, 11 on a sleeve 12 fixed to each leg, and are secured in adjusted position by set screws.
