Abstract

152,416. Keith, J., and Tuson, C. July 12, 1919. Screw and like propellers.-In propeller fans of the type having hollow blades for the reception of radial reinforcing and supporting arms, the latter are secured at one end to a disk. Radial arms 3, Figs. 1 and 3, are bolted to a disk 1 and are enclosed by the surfaces 2<a>, 2<b> of the blades 2. The edges of the plates 2<d> 2<c> are joined by welding and the arms 3 are welded or riveted to them.
