Abstract

161,605. Leitner, H. Oct. 9, 1919. Screw propellers.-Screw propeller blades and particularly sheet metal blades as described in Specification 151,693, are secured at the roots to a series of arms attached star-wise to each end of the hub, one set being relatively displaced with respect to the other. The hub a, Figs. 1 and 2, has arms b to which the blades e are fixed by screws d. The blades material passes round the base of connected triangular plates f. The hub may be in halves, the tubular parts g having mutually engaging claws h so that the arms b are correctly positioned relatively to one another.
