Abstract

1520636 Panelling and supports for baths J F HARRISON 9 Oct 1975 [9 Oct 1974] 43678/74 Heading A4N A bath 1 is supported by a rigid framework including a plurality of horizontally extending rim bearers 4 to which side walls in the form of panels 3 are attached, and floor bearers either in the form of horizontally extending members 5 or metal brackets 5A secured to the end panels 3. The bearers 4 are arranged to support the lowermost edges of the outwardly directed rims of the bath 1. The bearers 4 may be stepped rails with a resilient strip (6), Fig. 2 (not shown) between the bath rim 2 and the rail. One rail, Fig. 3 (not shown) may be secured to a wall by means of a bracket (8) and plugs (9), a metal or plastics trim strip (7) sealing the junction of the rim 2 and the panel or wall.
