Abstract
1,157,103. Partitions. SOC. INDUSTRIELLE DE TRANSFORMATION DES PLASTIOUES, S.A. 13 Oct., 1966 [19 July, 1966], No. 45814/66. Headings E1R and E1W. Partitions comprise hollow box-sectioned posts and rails 21 connected together and supporting panels or glass panes 52 via metal or plastics brackets 44 fastened to the rails, cover strips 48 being fixed over all the joints by mounting elements 22 made of a soundinsulating material. The element 22 may each be mounted on a separate base 37 (Fig. 8, not shown). Closure strips 57 may be employed to close off channels 15, 18 formed in the sides of the posts and top and bottom of each rail, or alternatively a central panel or glass pane 59 (Fig. 16, not shown) may be fixed thereto, or alternatively cover strips 48 may 'be fixed thereover (Fig. 15, not shown). The brackets may have several different forms, and may be connected to the mounting elements. They may be employed on the posts as well as the rails when the panels are heavy.
