Abstract

1507587 Stackable crates ALLIBERT EXPLOITATION 27 April 1976 [13 May 1975] 16939/76 Heading B8P A crate which may be stacked or nested with a similar crate by superimposing the crates in a respective one of two positions at 180 degrees to each other comprises at least three supporting and retaining members 6 and at least three apertures 9 in side walls 3, 4 of the crate corresponding to the members 6 so that in the nesting position, the members 6 of one crate fit into the apertures 9 of the other and in the stacking position, the members 6 of one crate support the other above it. The crate is preferably of plastics material and includes bosses 12 which slide into grooves 13 to locate the crate during nesting. Surface portions 7 bear the weight of the adjacent crate when stacked, the walls 3, 4 being tapered outwardly.
