Abstract

1304760 Load handling pallets STANDARD OIL CO 27 Oct 1970 [30 Oct 1969] 51058/70 Heading B8H A pallet made of foam plastics comprises top and bottom members spaced apart by corner supports 23-26 and side supports 38-41, located at or adjacent the periphery of the pallet, each support having a substantially planar surface arranged at an angle of between 30 and 75 degrees to the periphery of the pallet to facilitate the insertion of fork arms therebetween. Alternative shapes for a centre support and for the corner and side supports are described, Figs. 3, 4, 5 (not shown).
