Abstract

1521077 Buffer members for containers SOC CIVILE IMMOBILIERE ASNIERES PRONY 30 Oct 1975 44964/75 Heading A4U [Also in Division B8] A support 10 for attachment to the corners of a container to space the container from the ground for handling by a fork lift device comprises a triangular support plate 11, which engages the lower surface of the container side walls 12a, 12b, which engage the sides of the container, and a central, frusto-conical foot 13. Channels 18 are provided in each side wall 12a, 12b to locate strapping (17a), (17b) Fig. 1 (not shown) which retains the support on the container. Additional corner members (19) may be located on the upper corners of the container and each comprises a triangular plate with side walls. The plate has peripheral projections (21) Fig. 3 (not shown) which define a support surface (20) to receive the foot 13 of a support 10 secured to a superimposed container.
