Abstract

1,005,589. Load-handling pallets. K. DAHMEN. May 4, 1962, No. 17192/62. Heading B8H. A plurality of supports of the form shown are used in combination with straps or like securing members to convert a stack of goods into a fork-liftable package. Each support consists of a plurality of preferably hollow and downwardly tapering feet 2, the spaces between which serve as guides for the straps or the like. Fig. 1 (not shown) depicts a stack of goods held together by straps which also secure a support to each of the four corners of the base of the stack. Fig. 3 (not shown) shows how a plurality of the supports may be nested. The preferred material for the supports is a thermoplastic.
