Abstract

The box base is octangonal and has two triangular wedges in the base which form two octagonal spaces inside. The side. The sides of the box and wedges are fitted with lugs on the top and bottom at each of the corners. The lid of the box is similarly fitted with lugs and slots which will interlock with the lugs and slots in the box. With the box closed, it can be interlocked with a similar box on top, or underneath, either immediately above or in a staggered position. The stacked boxes have rigidity and strength and makes handling easier.
