Tentering. - Tentering-chains are provided with hardened steel connecting - pins and bushes, the pins being positioned positively and being removable from the top side of the links. The connecting pin h is provided with a collar h<1> engaging a hardened steel bush f<1> in the solid end a of a link b and a hardened steel flanged bush g screwed into one of the limbs e of the forked link c, the lower limb d being provided with a hardened steel bush f<2>. The bush g may have a recess for the reception of lubricating-oil, and the bushes f<1>, f<2> may be split and provided with outturned members adapted to keep them in position in the links by engaging grooves or notches therein, or they may be solid.
