Abstract
148,992. Ges. f³r Drahtlose Telegraphie. Feb. 8, 1916, [Convention date]. Thermionic detectors and relays. - A direct-current relay is operated by wireless signals by a thermionic valve having a large filament and high anode voltage, the grid potential of which is such that normally no current flows through the plate circuit. Rectified impulses are amplified by the valves 4, 5 in cascade, and led to the strong current valve 9, having a large cathode 10. The grid potential is adjusted so that no appreciable current flows in the plate circuit, in which is located an ordinary direct-current relay 12. On the arrival of a signal impulse, a direct current is released to operate the relay. A condenser 15 is preferably connected in parallel with the relay.
