Abstract

1484903 Collapsible boxes S A SWALLERT 20 Nov 1974 [21 Nov 1973] 50168/74 Heading B8P [Also in Divisions E1-E2] A collapsible cargo container comprises two structural members 1,2 interconnected by folding means 3a, 3b and 5a, 5b ; the arrangement being such that the hinges of the means 3a, 3b are disposed in a plane transverse to the plane of the hinges of the means 5a, 5b when the container is in the erected position. The container may be erected by inflatable pads and incorporate built-in stretchers, see Figs. 5 and 6 (not shown). The container may be provided with a liner or bladder of flexible material for the transport of fluid.
