Abstract

1378507 Containers RICHARDS CONTAINERS Ltd 7 Dec 1972 [7 Oct 1971] 46615/71 Heading B8P A container of high density twin flute corrugated board comprises a plurality of panels 12, the lap joint 11a being secured by staples, and each panel being reinforced by one or more wooden battens 18 secured to each panel by for example, staples. The battens may be on the inside of the panels as shown or on the outside. A separate lid 13 and base 14 are provided and beneath the base is a pallet platform 17. The lid is slightly larger than the base so that when the container is collapsed the lid will fit over the base. The base 14 may be secured to platform 17 by adhesive or staples; alternatively the platform may take the place of the base 14.
