Abstract
1477963 Eleetromagnetic relays; electromagnets LGZ LANDIS & GYR ZUG AG 22 May 1975 [28 June 1974] 22233/75 Headings H1N and H1P An electromagnetic relay has its coils 2 surrounded by a ferromagnetic casing 1 and surrounds an armature 10 pivoted about an axis normal to the coil axis and cooperating with ferromagnetic members 7 and 4 providing a constant air gap 18 and a variable air gap 19. The armature 10 is pivoted on members 8 at its centre of gravity and is biased by a spring 12 within a slot 11 in the armature and acting between the armature and a bracket 13 adjustable by a screw 22. The spring may be so located that its bias force decreases as the armature 10 moves on energization of the coil 2.
