Abstract

1476221 Overflow arrangements for flushing cisterns STITSONS SANITARY FITTINGS Ltd 18 Nov 1975 [19 Nov 1974] 50008/74 Heading E1C A low-level W.C. comprises a cistern 12 and closet 13 in which the overflow pipe 14 from the cistern leads to a discharge nozzle 15 located above the rear of the closet which is shaped at 16 so that overflow water falling from the nozzle is directed under the seat 17 and into the bowl. The cistern may be exposed to view or concealed behind a partition Figs. 2, 3 and 5 (not shown). The overflow pipe and/or the nozzle may be integral with the cistern casing Figs. 6-10 (not shown) or the nozzle may be integral with a prefabricated panel forming part of the surface of the partition, Figs. 11A and 11B (not shown).
