Abstract

1,113,532. Supporting closet pans. IDEALSTANDARD Ltd. 23 Feb., 1966 [17 March, 1965], No. 11412/65. Heading E1C. [Also in Division A4] A water closet comprises a bowl or basin 1 and a base 3, the former having a part 4 to receive screws, bolts or other like fixing means to enable the fitting, mounted on a floor, to be secured to a wall. The part 4 is an integral extension of the bowl or basin, and has a flange section 11 or 15 (Figs. 1 and 5) presenting a surface to engage the wall. The flange sections 11 and 15, respectively, have holes 13 and 16 for the fixing means. The extension 4 has an apertured portion 8 or 10 communicating with the interior of the bowl or basin and receiving a pipe from a flushing cistern. The bowl or basin 1 has a dischargeable outlet 14, extending from it.
