A lavatory pan 1 with an inlet horn 4 for flushing and a trap pipe 6 is bolted to a wall at the rear via holes adjacent the horn 4 and if required in an optional web 20 running under the trap pipe, which is itself supported by a holderbat 16 (Fig. 2, not shown) behind the wall. The pan may be of vitreous china.
