Abstract

146,197. M³ller, E. L. Dec. 17, 1917, [Convention date]. No Patent granted (Scaling fee not paid). Two-stroke-cycle engines; driving-gear.-Oppositely-moving pistons reciprocate in each of the cylinders of a. radial revolving cylinder engine. The inner pistons h, i are connected to a stationary crank shaft a and the other pistons are connected by outside rods m. to eccentrics x secured to the shaft. The cylinders have inlet ports r to which charges are supplied from a crank case fed through the hollow shaft a. The cylinders and crank casing may be constructed of aluminium. An aircraft propeller is driven from the end y of the casing and accessories from a gear-wheel q carried by the other end.
