Abstract

1454658 Partitioned trays formed from blanks ASHTON CONTAINERS Ltd 29 April 1975 [7 May 1974] 19985/74 Heading B8P A multi-cell rectangular tray is formed from a blank, e.g. of corrugated or solid fibre board, and has cells defined by a first series of slotted parallel partition walls 13 which interlock at right angles with a second series of slotted parallel partition walls 21 the first series of partition walls 13 being formed by slotted flaps folded from a middle section of the blank, whilst the second series 21 are formed by slotted panels formed by the sections of the blank to either side of the middle section, and the base of the tray is formed by panels from all three sections. As shown the perimeter wall is formed by panels 15 and extension panels 16 attached to the middle section of the blank, the extension panels being sandwiched by the foldover wall panels 18 and 24.
