1450131 Working at specified temperatures NIPPON STEEL CORP 13 Dec 1973 [23 Dec 1972 (2)] 58056/73 Heading B3V [Also in Division C7] Steel containing in percentage by weight: Fe balance except for one or more of Ti, Nb or Zr such that is greater than the carbon content is hot rolled to finish at 750‹ C. or below, and then recrystallization annealed, preferably at not more than A 3 . Advantageously the amount of reduction effected below 800‹C. is at least 40% of the thickness at 800‹ C., and the preferred finishing temperature is 400-750‹ C. Annealing may be box, coil or continuous.
