Abstract

1448004 Drill and flanging tool; spinning PERFECTA VERWALTUNGS GmbH [trading as FIRM DAKO-WERKZEUGFABRIKEN DAVID KOTTHAUS KG] 4 Dee 1973 [4 Dec 1972 5 June 1973] 56023/73 Headings B3C and B3J A drilling and flanging tool comprises a drill 10 formed in two parts 11, 12, means 22 for pivoting the parts about a pivot 24, and a screwed sleeve 17 for engagement with the workpiece 19, a hole being drilled with the drill parts 11, 12, in alignment, followed by pivoting of the parts so as to form a flange 26 at the edge of the hole. Pivoting of the drill parts is effected by a nut 15 connected to sleeve 14 carrying levers 22 connected to the parts 33, an adjustable stop being provided for limiting the adjustment of the nut. The tool is carried by a holder 34, which is located on the workpiece by yokes 44.
