[Class 83 (iii)] A turret tailstock enabling four drills or other tools to be selectively aligned with the lathe axis comprises a four-armed cruciform member B mounted on a bracket A which is angularly adjustable on the tailstock E, the tool-holders being selectively positioned by an indexing plunger D. By angular adjustment of the bracket the turret may be positioned to clear the rear tool post as shown in Fig. 4.
