Abstract
143,560. Marquet, E. Aug. 24, 1918, [Convention date]. Movable-abutment type with axially-sliding abutments.-A rotary element A, Fig. 3, and an axially sliding non-rotating element A<1> have adjacent inclined faces. The element A<1> is pressed toward the element A by a spring R. As the element A rotates, the faces move toward and away from each other, and the alterations in the volume of the working chamber are used to effect pumping of a fluid. Fig. 6 shows a multiple pump with two rotary elements on one shaft V and an intermediate sliding element B.
