Abstract

1422503 Burners; boilers SAUNIER DUVAL 18 June 1974 [20 June 1973 25 Sept 1973] 26998/74 Headings F4A and F4T In a "sealed" gas-fuelled forced-draught water heater having a combustion chamber surmounted by a hood 2 to which an exhaust duct 3 is attached, an extractor fan 6 being provided in the exhaust duct, means 18 are provided for sensing the inlet pressure to the gas burner 5 to control a valve regulating the air supply. The valve controls an orifice 10 in the hood to bypass the burner. In a non-illustrated embodiment the valve controls a by-pass for the extractor fan and in another embodiment, Fig. 3 (not shown), it controls the outlet from the extractor fan.
