Abstract

1337512 Water heating boiler PALOMA KOGYO KK 20 Jan 1972 [26 Jan 1971] 2781/72 Heading F4A In a water heating boiler, a flue pipe 10 extends through a water tank 1 from combustion chamber 9 and two outer covers 4, 6 extend around the tank to define downwardly, 2, and upwardly, 5, extending passages leading flue gases from pipe 10 to outlet duct 12. An outer housing 8 forms a third cover and defines with the second cover 6 an air inlet passage 7 connecting air inlet duct 13 to the combustion chamber 9 via holes 11, and the outlet duct 12 is disposed within inlet duct 13 in a balanced flue arrangement. The cover 6 is lined with heat retaining material such as glass wool or asbestos. Water enters the tank 1 at 16 and hot water leaves at 17, a temperature sensing element 19 is coupled to control the burner supply.
