Abstract

1514583 Water heaters JAMES STOTT & CO (ENGS) Ltd 4 Nov 1976 [9 Aug 1975] 33289/75 Heading F4A In an apparatus for heating water, a vessel 17 for holding water is disposed in a flue 11 for the combustion products from a gas burner 10 so that the hot combustion products heat the water by flowing past the vessel, an outwardly extending partition 15 being provided in the vessel for providing inner and outer chambers connected by a flow passage. A hot water collecting chamber 9 is provided outside the vessel 17 for collecting water boiled from the outer chamber and hot water is drawn off through a tap 28 from the hot water collecting chamber 9. Means is provided for supplying cold water to the inner chamber through an inlet 23 and a float controlled water supply valve 19.
