Abstract

1420252 Container closures BLAU KG FABRIK FUER KRAFTFAHRZEUGTEILE 2 Feb 1973 [11 Feb 1972 8 June 1972] 5211/73 Heading B8T A closure comprises an outer cap part 1 and an inner screw-threaded plug part 2 coupled by a rectangular compressible member 14 or spring (Figs. 1-3, not shown) which has lugs provided with sloped surfaces 151 which bear against the surface 1<SP>111</SP> of a hollow handle 1<SP>1</SP> on the part 1 during tightening of the closure so that when a predetermined torque is applied the parts 1, 2 are decoupled by the compression of the member 14 disengaging the lugs from the handle 1<SP>1</SP>. On unscrewing the closure vertical surfaces 15<SP>11</SP> of the lugs bear against the handle 1<SP>1</SP>.
