Abstract

1415928 Mobile tower cranes LOIRECORD 18 April 1973 [17 May 1972] 18818/73 Heading B8B A collapsible tower crane comprises a base 1, with rear wheels 6 and front steering wheels 7, mounting a slewing platform 3 on which is pivoted a telescopic tower 4 with a jib 5 shown in the erected, horizontal position. Auxiliary wheels 12 mounted on the mast 4 come into contact with the ground to take part of the weight of the crane when it is to be moved in the collapsed position over even ground, Fig. 2 (not shown), or uneven ground, Fig. 3 (not shown). The rear wheels 6 are driven and the crane is self-propelling. It may move in the erected position.
