Seats and seat backs, arrangement and disposition of.-A motor-vehicle is converted into a four seater or three seater as desired by the use with front spaced seats c and opposite facing rear seats 3, 4, of a detachable or removable bucket seat d supported in the space between the rear seats, as shown. The seat d when in position abuts against the two forward seats and rests upon, or has pins to engage with, cross supporting members at its front and rear edges. In modifications of the supporting means, the rear edge of the seat d may be supported by a spring member; or the seat may be mounted on cross spring members the ends of which engage with notches or recesses in the seats 3, 4.
