Abstract

141,114. Keel, C. E. Jan. 3, 1919. Drawings to Specification. Valve-gear. - In a two-stroke-cycle engine in which separately-compressed charges of gas and air are admitted behind a transfer piston during the exhaust stroke, the exhaust valve opening into the combustion chamber and the air-admission valve opening into the space behind the transfer piston are worked from cams on the crank-shaft.
