Abstract

1410257 Lamp supports STAFF KG 19 Jan 1973 [31 Jan 1972] 2847/73 Heading F4R A lamp is supported by a tubular arm 7 one end of which is secured to a wall or ceiling bracket 10 and the other end of which carries a collar 14 rotatable about the axis of the arm. The collar has a part 22 in the form of a cylinder with its axis transverse to the axis of the arm, this cylinder being engaged in a. slot 15 in an extension 2 of the bulb socket 1 and being pivoted about its axis on screws 17 which can be tighted to adjust the friction between the end faces of the cylinder and the sides of the slot. Rotation of the collar is limited by a lug 13 which abuts a stop 12 on the arm 7. A reflector 8 is carried by a tube 5 slidable axially on the socket assembly 1, 2, the tube being supported by spring arms 4 integral with a ring 3 which is clamped between the parts 1 and 2.
