Abstract

1408275 Casting concrete piles PAUL CHUAN PAOCHEN 13 Nov 1973 [23 Oct 1972] 48824/72 Heading E1H Apparatus for casting a concrete pile comprises a tube 1 for sinking into a ground formation in which the pile is to be cast. A sealing member 2 extends immovably across the tube near the bottom end and a releasable end plug 4 closes one end of the tube to form a chamber 9 for receiving cement-sand grout. Supply pipe 10 is positioned outside the tube to pass grout under pressure from the surface 13 into the chamber.
