1397075 Clamps J MILLS P MILLS and W KITCHIN 30 June 1972 [30 June 1971] 30615/71 Heading E2B A grip comprises pairs of jaws 1 pivotally connected by a bolt 4 and joined by members 2a, 2b one of which is provided with a screwthreaded hole in which is engaged a bolt 10; rotation of the bolt closes or opens the jaws. Jaw members 3 are secured to the jaws, and a shackle 7 is provided for attachment of the grip to a lifting or lowering device.
