1395939 Laminated tapes DAIICHI SEIYAKU CO Ltd and SUGAWARA KOGYO CO Ltd 17 Aug 1972 38512/72 Heading B5N [Also in Divisions B6 B8 and B2] An adhesive seal or tape comprises a support sheet a of synthetic plastics, paper, or cloth to which is laminated a thin frangible foil c of aluminium, paper or paint by means of a weak adhesive b, the free side of the foil c being coated with a strong adhesive d for attachment to a package. Adhesive b may be wax or paraffin, while adhesive d may be pressure or heat-sensitive or water activated. A strippable cover may protect adhesive d, or if the seal is in rolled tape form, the outer surface may be coated with stripping agent.
