Abstract

1391380 Crates MAUSER KG 7 Nov 1973 [11 Nov 1972] 51718/73 Heading B8P A stackable, bottle crate is provided with load-supporting columns 3 which extend from the base of the crate into the interior, together with a peripheral rib (7) on the bottom of the crate which is adapted to engage the inner rim portion of a similar, lower crate, when the columns 3 will rest on the corresponding columns of the lower container. The columns 3 are hollow and each has a peripheral flange at its open lower end which is adapted to engage over the top of a column of the second container. The two columns illustrated are positioned symmetrically of the crate and are interconnected by two laterally spaced, longitudinal partitions 9, 10. Between the columns 3 the partitions 9, 10 are extended upwards to form a handle 13.
