1389433 Dispensing closures JOHNSON & JOHNSON 12 July 1972 [13 July 1971] 32610/72 Heading B8T A closure is rotatable through an angle limited by the engagement of an inward protuberance 30 on the closure in a groove 14 on the container neck to align a dispensing aperture 32 in the top wall 24 of the closure with a groove 15 in the neck. The top surface 16 of the neck is sloped radially inwardly and upwardly and the top wall 24 has a thin peripheral zone that sealingly engages the surface 16 providing frictional resistance to accidental rotation. More than one slot 15 and aperture 32 may be provided with a corresponding number of grooves 14 and protuberances 30.
