Abstract

1375015 Lamp holders CANNON ELECTRIC (GREAT BRITAIN) Ltd 26 Oct 1972 [1 Nov 1971] 50634/71 Heading H2E Resilient arms 2, 3 are compressed by a collar 10 to force metallic strips 7, 8 into contact with a capless bulb 9. A shroud 4 extends outside the roots of the arms 2, 3. A lens and reflector housing (13, Fig. 2, not shown) is fitted from the front into a panel aperture and held therein by resilient hooked arms (15). The bulb holder is then fitted from the rear into the housing (13) and fixed by a bolt. The contact strips 7, 8 may be bared lengths of flat cable and may be glued to the arms 2, 3.
