Abstract

1355453 Lampholders PRESSAC Ltd 28 March 1973 [14 March 1972] 11829/72 Heading H2E [Also in Divisions E2 and F4] A lampholder 1 or other component has resilient mounting arms 2 which extend forwardly of the mouth of the holder and engage the edge of an opening 4 in an instrument panel or the like, the arms each extending in a respective plane substantially parallel to the axis of the holder but being inclined towards one side of the axis. The arms are bent up from a disc of thin springy metal so as to leave a narrow circumferential flange 6 which is clamped to the mouth of the holder by a ring 8.
