Abstract
1333158 Projector lamps THORN ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 11 Sept 1972 [15 Sept 1971] 43087/71 Heading F4R [Also in Divisions H1 and H2] A light source for use in a cine projector comprises a double-ended tungsten halogen lamp 21 mounted at one end in a metal casing 23 which is secured in an aperture at the pole of a metallic bowl reflector 25, the lead 22b from one end of the lamp passing through the aperture and being insulated from the reflector and casing whilst the other lead 28 is connected to the casing by a return lead 31. The base of the reflector is protected by a ceramic cap 27. The source may be detachably or permanently secured to an adaptor (35, Fig. 3, not shown) attached to a cap (33) provided with a focusing flange (34) for mounting the source in a projector.
