1371992 Ni-Cr alloys TOKYO SHIBAURA ELECTRIC CO Ltd 13 April 1972 [15 April 1971] 17010/72 HeadingC7A An alloy, suitable for use in gas turbines burning low-grade residual fuel, comprises:- the balance apart from impurities and incidental elements (e.g. Ca, up to 3% Fe, Mg, Mn, R.E. metals or Si), being Ni. Up to 5% of the Ni may be replaced by Co and up to 20% of the Ta, Mo and B by Nb, W and Zr respectively. An exemplary heat-treatment is solution treating at 1220‹C, cooling in air and ageing at 900‹C.
