1370844 Air heating stoves KLIMATECHNIK GmbH 15 Feb 1972 [26 March 1971] 6921/72 Heading F4K A direct fired air heater, particularly for heating greenhouses, comprises a burner including a flame tube 4 disposed concentrically within a duct 1 through which air is passed by means of a fan 2. A nozzle 5 supplied with gaseous or liquid fuel through a pipe 6 and disposed within the flame tube is surrounded by a frusto-conical turbulence producing disc 8, combustion air being supplied to the region of the nozzle through slots 12 in the disc 8 via slots in the flame tube, the combustion air supply through these slots being regulated by. means of a movable sleeve 13. The flame tube is surrounded by an annular disc 10 which has a cylindrical rim 15. An ionization sensor 18 attached to the disc 10 and having a curved portion extending into the front end of the flame tube 4 is provided for flame monitoring purposes and as a gas deficiency safety device.
