Abstract

Spring wheels with continuous outer rigid ring and rubber-ring and Liks hubs and cushions.-Relates to resilient wheels in which a plurality of rims carrying resilient devices are arranged concentrically round the hub. Rubber rings 1, 2 are disposed between rims 3, 4 and an annular distancepiece 7. The drive is transmitted by bolts 18 passing through holes 22 in flanges 15, 16, the holes being sufficiently large to allow relative movement of the hub portion 3 with respect to the axle 5. Bolts 17 pass through the plates 16 and through cylindrical bushes 21 free to rotate in sleeves 20, Fig. 3. The bushes are bored to have a cross-section, as shown in Fig. 7, to allow the bolts 17 to move relatively to the outer portion of the wheel. Lubricant may be supplied to the bushes through a duct 23, Fig. 3.
