Abstract

1366040 Knitting machines UNIVERSAL MASCHINENFABRIK DR RUDOLF SCHIEBER KG 19 May 1972 [7 June 1971] 23733/ 72 Heading D1C In a flat-bed knitting machine, the material is knitted round guide bars 1 which are pivoted to move in the plane of the knitting, means being provided for holding the guide bars against the pull of the fabric in any pivoting position. As shown, the bars 1 are pivoted to arms 2 and are held against movement by a screw 3 with a lock-nut 4. Arm 2 is carried in mounting 9 displaceable on thread guide rail 10 and held in position by a screw 11. The fabric is knitted round bar 1 which has a bevelled end 5 to lie tangentially of the take-up roller.
